From humble beginnings over twenty years ago, BBR has developed from a family run roofing company to become a leading specialist in the roofing business, with particular expertise in roofing refurbishment.
From our premises in Liverpool we offer a complete waterproofing service throughout the UK. Our aim is to deliver consistent quality and value for money within a safe working environment. We are proud of our reputation and achievements, constantly striving to exceed our customer’s expectations.
H&S Training & Skills Development
All site based operatives have CSCS cards, UKATA asbestos awareness training and working at height training as a minimum. This is complimented by additional training depending upon their role such as PASMA and IPAF. Site supervisors hold either 2 day CITB site supervisors certificate or the 5 day SMSTS site managers certificate. They also have first aid training and fire safety training.
Health and safety is paramount but we do not neglect skills training, and all of our operatives attend relevant manufacturer training courses and receive onsite assessment and testing during their NVQ process.
As a result of our investment in our people we have a very low staff turnover which enables us to maintain our quality approach.
Market Sectors
BBR Roofing’s customer base includes a wide variety of buildings across the public and private sectors of commerce, local authority and industry. We have particular experience in carrying out roofing works for schools and colleges, major shopping centres, Religious establishments, and high street financial and retail chains.
Education
Re-roofing works on Schools, Academies and Colleges require particular attention to the safety and welfare of the pupils, school staff and visitors. While many roofing projects on schools are programmed for school holiday breaks, many projects must still be continued during term time due to the scale of the works. Re-roofing of educational premises is a core activity for BBR Roofing, and we have a vast portfolio of references for this type of work. Clients can be assured of a professional and fully competent service through the whole roofing project.
Retail
Shopping Centre projects includes Live stores, which involve replacing or repairing roofs whilst store holders maintain an open shopping centres to continue trading, causing little or no disruption or invconvenience to shoppers or store holders. Roofing refurbishment on major shopping centres requires significant planning and resources. Members of the public and centre staff all need to be protected from the works, while the day to day business of the shopping centre needs to be maintained. Having carried out full re-roofing works as well as maintenance works on several major shopping centres, we have gained the experience to provide a safe and effective roofing service to our clients.
High street retail outlets pose particular problems for premises maintenance generally, and roofing maintenance in particular. Old construction, limited access, proximity to pedestrian streets and members of the public, as well as the need for a store to remain open and operational are some of the challenges. Internal leaks cause damage to stock and slip hazards to shop visitors. BBR Roofing have a long track record of providing roofing services to high street retail outlets, from routine maintenance to full re-roofing work.
Churches and Places of Worship
These projects often require heritage or conservation considerations, or feature bespoke architectural details, and therefore pose diverse challenges in their re-roofing. Our Management and Technical staff have worked with many specialist consultants for the re-roofing of church property, providing attention to detail in the planning and execution of the works.
